Oyun sunucuları için hangi işletim sistemi...
Oyun sunucuları için en ideal işletim sistemi Linux galiba fakat Linux'un hangi dağıtımı daha iyidir.

Aksam işyerinden çıkmadan Centos'u çekmeye başlamıştım büyük ihtimal şimdi çoktan bitmiştir. Yarın işyerine gittiğimde denemelere başlayacağım...

Bir kaç teknik konuda eksiğim var. ? Linux neredeyse hiç kullanmadım.. ama mantıgını kavradığıma inanıyorum...

Kendi forumum için CS server kurmak istiyorum ( Whm'de zaten kurulumu anlatan bilgiler var )

Sizce Oyun sunucuları için Centos iyi bir seçim mi ? Değilse hangisi
Başka kurulumlara ihtiyaç duyacakmıyım ?
ve Son soru sizce sunucunun kaç mb hatta ihtiyacı vardır. Havuz bağlantılar işimi görürmü ?

Daha önce oyun sunucularını devamlı windows üzerinde çalıştırmıştım ancak linux olarak centOS'u tavsiye ederim. Her türlü uygulamalarda, 1 numara olmasa bile (web üzerinde debian #1 gibi -tartışılır.) her işinizi centOS ile görebilirsiniz..

Centos ile Debian arasındaki farklar ne ?

Son olarak Centos çekmiştim ama Live CD cıktı ve sadece Boot edebiliyorum su anda orjinal sitesinden DVD versiyonunu çekiyorum ve 3.58 GB Va diyorum bir linux sistemi bu kadar mı büyük oluyor ?

Çektiğiniz dosya tam sürüm desktop linux. Server.iso çıkmadı sanırım 5.1 sürümü için (emin değilim) Index of / adresinden eski sürümlere ulaşabilirsiniz.

Debian ile centos arasındaki fark, debianın web sunucusu olarak dizayn edilmesi ve bu iş için ciddi anlamda yüksek performans sağlamasıdır. centOS ise her türlü uygulamada yüksek performans vermek ister, bunu isterken bazen diğer sürümlerden aşağı kalabilir..

Diğer farklarından biride yapısal olarak tamamen değişiktir.

sinangunay bilgiler için teşekkürler ben en iyisi Centos 4.5 v. ve Debian'ı çekip denemeler yapayım...

CS Kurmak istiyormuşsun . Ben Linuxda süründüm cs kurmak için ama windows aldım herşeyi yaptım. Linux için çok çok detaylı makaleler yok bazı linkler de çalışmıyor. Ama windows için iyi makaleler var ve çok kolay.
