LT sona doğru - LayeredTech Sunuculara zam yapıyor

Layeredtech 1 temmuz itibariyle geçerli olacak yeni sunucu fiatlarını bayilerine bildirdi.

Rakamlara bakılırsa %30 u aşan bir zam söz konusu.
2007 yılı başlarında yapılan 8 dolarlık zamın etkisini zar zor atlatabilen LT bu sefer %30 luk bir fiat artışının ardından ne duruma düşer muamma.

Müşterilerinin çoğunun SoftLayer verimerkezine doğru kaymasından sorna zor durumlar yaşadığını açıkça söyleyebiliriz.
Bu zamdan sonra tamamen LT nin sona doğru gittiğini söyleyebilirim.

Vakti zamanında xxx tane sunucu sahibi olduğum bir verimerkezinin böyle bir zam yapması beni de üzdü.

100 dolarlık bir sunucunun 130 dolar olacağını düşünürsek epey kötü durumdalar.

Bu yazıyı yazma amacım sizleri bilgilendirmek ve sunucularınızı LT den taşımanızı önermektir.
Hizmet kalitesinin zamanla düşebilme olasılığı yüksektir.

Sizlere tavsiye verimerkezi olarak SoftLayer ve Staminus u önerebilirim.

Layered Technologies Pricing Update - Effective July 1, 2008

Dear S K,
At Layered Technologies we are proud of the pioneering role we've played in the unmanaged server hosting market, as well as the trust we've developed within our community of thousands of clients and partners. We know that this trust is dependent on a number of factors including our ability to provide excellent customer service, market leading products, and highly available facilities and infrastructure. We also know it is imperative that we put in place the tools that allow us to provide more value and higher levels of service to those who depend on us and, like most other businesses, our underlying costs for providing these services have increased dramatically in the past year. As a result it has become necessary to adjust our pricing effective July 1, 2008.

Service Improvements
In order to better support your needs we've implemented a number of significant measures, many of which are already under way, including:

• Implementation of a new enterprise-wide management system to integrate all client touch points and improve response times.
• Roll out of new virtualization services to enable a whole range of redundancy, scalability and management features for new and existing clients.
• Installation of additional network capacity between data centers for improved redundancy and throughput.
• Construction of a new state of the art Network Operations Center to speed service recovery times and detect and prevent issues before they occur.

Pricing Update
As a result of these underlying cost increases, you will notice a price increase on your monthly service charges beginning July 1, 2008 for all month-to-month contracted service prices. The specific increases to your individual servers will be as follows:

Softlayer hizmet olarak çok güzel fakat LT kadar network' i iyi değil Türkiye için..

Atlantanap/Gnax/Netdepot 11 hop

Hop yani atlama sayısı ne kadar düşük olursa verim o kadar iyi olacaktır. Atlantanap' i hiç kullanmadım fakat LT' de Gnax üzerinden ulaşıyordu Türkiyeye.. Hizmet isteğen Softlayer' a; verim isteğen Atlantanap' e bence..

Hoş şirketlerin çoğu kriz yüzünden küçülürken; Softlayer ikinci ve üçüncü veri merkezini açtı Demek ki doğru yolda ilerliyor..

Niye böyle birşey yapma gereği duydular acaba..Resmen kendi iflaslarını vermeyi düşünüyorlar Yurt dışındakileri bilmem fakat Türkiye'de LayeredTech'i kullananların %50'den fazlası başka bir verimerkezine geçecektir eminim.

Parti kapanırsa sıcak para uçar gider; dolar 1.5 YTL' in üstüne çıkar; Layeredtech' in %30 zammıyla bence müşterilerin %90' ı terkeder veri merkezini

Acaba LT nin sunucular petrol ile çalışıyor olabilirmi. hani varil fiyatı zamlandı ya belkide onun için zam yaptılar
